It looks like a gun! (kinda)

My Magpul parts arrived today from Bravo Company. I got the Full MIAD grip kit and The mil-spec CTR Adjustable stock. Bravo Company also supplied my Mil-spec six position buffer tube and carbine buffer. So I was able to put everything together and get this hunk of aluminium looking something like a weapon.

First Shipments!

Well, I got the part I needed last first. My Strikefire red dot scope arrived yesterday. It is a pretty cool little toy made overseas but marketed by an American company called Vortex. I picked this one from among the lower cost red dot sights because of the lifetime warantee and the manufacturers support on ar15.com.

Today I picked up my lower reciever from David's gun room. They did the transfer for me from Tactical Machining. The guys in the shop were pretty impressed with the quality and I'm quite happy too. Then I instaled most of my High Standards LPK. Waiting on my Magpul stock and grip to install the rest!

Tactical Machining Lower

This is the AR-15 lower I will be starting with forged 7000 series aluminum with CNC machining made in the USA. Tactical Machining is a new company out of Florida. This lower has a few nice features like a beveled mag well and markings for .223 and 5.56 parts kit to follow.
