Well, I got the part I needed last first. My
Strikefire red dot scope arrived yesterday. It is a pretty cool little toy made overseas but marketed by an American company called
Vortex. I picked this one from among the lower cost red dot sights because of the lifetime warantee and the manufacturers support on
ar15.com.
Today I picked up my lower reciever from David's gun room. They did the transfer for me from
Tactical Machining. The guys in the shop were pretty impressed with the quality and I'm quite happy too. Then I instaled most of my High Standards LPK. Waiting on my Magpul stock and grip to install the rest!
